Kilic Kursat
Hello! I'm Kilic, a passionate software developer and Japanese language enthusiast. My journey with Japanese began years ago when I found myself fascinated by the culture, literature, and technology coming out of Japan. Like many learners, I started with the daunting task of memorizing the three writing systems: Hiragana, Katakana, and Kanji.
I distinctly remember the frustration of writing character repetitions on blank paper, struggling to remember the stroke orders, and feeling disconnected from the actual application of the language. I searched for digital tools, but found that most apps were either hidden behind expensive paywalls, overloaded with distracting ads, or lacked the crucial physical act of "writing" the characters.
That frustration became the inspiration for Hiragana Ninja. Combining my background in web development with my personal struggles in language acquisition, I decided to build the tool I wished I had when I first started learning Japanese. My goal was simple: create a modern, deeply interactive, and 100% free platform that respects the learner's time and genuinely accelerates the memorization process through gamified active recall.
